Bloomsburg Indoor Track Team At PSAC East Challenge Meet

KUTZTOWN -- The Bloomsburg University men's and women's indoor track teams took part in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Challenge meet on Saturday.
In women's action, Connie Raineri (Gilbertsville/Pius X) took fourth in the long jump with a mark of 16 feet, six and three quarter inches, then came back a little later in the event and was fourth in the 400-meter race in 62.28 seconds.
At 3000-meters, Ashley Schuck (Milton/Milton) was second in a time of 11:06.32, while in the mile, the Huskies Beth Schwing (Hershey/Lower Dauphin) was second in 5:22.67; Amber Hackenberg (Middleburg/Middleburg) fourth in 5:25.36 and Sarah Bounds (Shippensburg/Shippensburg) sixth in 5:37.66.
Bloomsburg's Distance Medley Relay team of Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn), Raineri, Suzie Wade (Watsontown/Warrior Run) and Schwing took first in 13:06.45, while the team of Bounds, Amy Whetstone (New Paris/Chestnut Ridge), Michelle Jansen (Warrington/Central Bucks South) and Hackenberg was third in 13:19.28.
For the men, Darryl Robinson (Easton/Easton) ran of time of 6.87 seconds in the 55 meters, while Dan Talerico (Pittsburgh/North Hills) was fourth in the 800-meters in 1:59.13. At 5000-meters, Misha Litvinov (Drums/Hazleton) was third in 16:05.09 with Justin Shepherd (Cranberry Twp/Seneca Valley) fourth in 16:05.21 and Tim Marcoe (Lansdale/Lansdale Catholic) fifth in 16:20.16.Huskies reurn to HuHu
